This year's UK Web and Minicomics Thing just whipped by, and I'm still recovering! It's just a one day fair, out in the wilds of the East End, but for me it's the highlight of the London comics year.
This year I had something new - my first-ever sketchbook mini!
Here are the details: Train Lines is an accordion bound collection of 10 of my favorite sketches from the last three years of subway sketching in London and New York.
It has a Gocco printed cover (two colors, red and gold) and a full-color interior.
It wouldn't have happened except for jabberworks - on Wednesday we were both feeling a bit sad not to have anything new for our respective weekend fairs - the Thing for me, Hi-Ex in Inverness for her. There was only one thing to do - mini-comics challenge!
Result: we both had a new mini by Saturday! It's a Deptford miracle.
For those of you who couldn't make it, Train Lines is available on Etsy and will soon be on sale at Gosh!
Yay! Great news, Sacha - Nin mini! Nin mini! BTW, I sold some WoM's at the Thing to a rather fetching young man who was a huge fan of yours (though he said you'd never met). He had both Manholes and was desperate for more!
